Ahead of the release of his debut album Places We Don’t Know on 23rd March via Foreign Family Collective/Counter Records, Kasbo has delivered the eagerly-awaited follow up in his mixtape series, ‘Cry / Dance Mix_02’.
Launching the ‘Cry/ Dance’ mixtape series last summer, his debut mix received almost 600k plays on Soundcloud; with the second edition incorporating Kasbo’s own remix productions, interspersed with soothing tracks from the likes of Mura Masa, Petit Biscuit, Four Tet and ODESZA.
Filled with tracks that inspire the Swede as well as unreleased ID’s, the ‘Cry / Dance’ mixtape series is an effortless display into Kasbo’s world and serves his goal to make listeners, in his own words – ‘wanna dance and cry at the same time.’
Next month, Kasbo (real name Carl Garsbo) will return to North America, where he’ll embark on his first headline tour with support from BAYNK and EVAN GIIA. Later this summer, the Swedish producer will reunite with ODESZA on their 2018 ‘A Moment Apart’ tour, before making appearances at Hangout Music Festival, Firefly Music Festival, and Electric Forest Music Festival.
