‘Asylum’ is the debut single from electronic music producer Kreios, and it calls on a range of influences to produce the otherworldly and dark dance track which sees him explore a variety of soundscapes.
Hailing from Atlanta, 2023 marks the start of his career and he’s taken inspiration from producers such as Bastian, Scooter, NGHTMRE and Liquid Stranger to help him towards this first release.
Alongside a combination of original tracks with live instrumentation, as well as visual elements to fully immerse the listener, his signature is already recognisable. A foreboding intro characterises ‘Asylum’ and this drives into lush levels of synthesis, manipulated vocals and grinding snares that kick through the mix.
To celebrate the release of ‘Asylum’ Kreios has given us a breakdown of the tracks he has spinning in his Spotify playlists recently. Take a look below and make sure to grab a copy of his debut single out now.
