With a background in 140 beats-per-minute (with labels such as Firepower Records, Uprise Music and Buygore), the Chicago-based producer has recently been experimenting with a wider range of electronic music styles. Twisted is a continuation of his industrial explorations, blending a range of intensity within the four tracks. From the title track through to “Hallucination,” KTRL displays a fine touch in both production and his ability balance pressure for the floor with countless layers of subtle detail.
Shadow Phoenix abel-mate STEEZ joins KTRL on “Represent,” perfectly blending their styles into a foot-stomping weapon designed to rattle those headphones right off your head.
