British melodic-house tastemaker LAR today rejoined forces with South African producer Bound to Divide, as well as Monstercat Silk newcomer miksklim for the dreamy EP, ‘Coast / Together’.
The four-track package spans the progressive stylings from all three artists, taking listeners on a meditative journey through wistful percussion, atmospheric pads, and soothing synths. Bringing a familiar tranquil essence to Silk, “Coast” immerses listeners in the new soundscapes of miksklim, while “Together” shines a light on label-favourites LAR and Bound to Divide with organic elements that have earned them spots on staple deep house playlists across Apple Music and Spotify.
LAR shares, “miksklim sent me the idea [for “Coast”] that I instantly fell in love with, which made it very easy to work with. The record has a really warm uplifting feel to it, perfect for the summer.”
Bound to Divide adds, “LAR sent me “Together” and I instantly connected with the groove and musicality of it. I thoroughly enjoyed putting my touch on it and hope everyone feels it as much as we do.”
