Twenty-three-year-old independent singer, songwriter and producer Lauv recently unveiled ‘Getting Over You’, the latest track to feature in his evolving playlist ‘I met you when I was 18.’

Now, Lauv has released tour footage to accompany the brilliant new track. The live clips perfectly capture Lauv’s rapid ascent, revealing a portrait of a rising artist, his energetic performances matching the catharsis and drama of the track.

‘Getting Over You’ is the sound of trying to overcome a recent heartbreak. Set to glacial beats and warm synths, Lauv’s voice refracting into shards of melody against the perfectly matched production, the track is a showcase of Ari Leff’s talents as both a vocalist and a producer.

Alongside the tour video Lauv unveils a remix of ‘Getting Over You’ by R3HAB who adds house textures to the original moving towards the dance-floor.

R3HAB says “I’ve admired LAUV for a while now for his great songs and also independent approach to bringing his music to the people. I didn’t have to think twice when he asked me to remix ‘Getting Over You’ – it’s a pleasure to remix when the song and vocal performance is so genuine”.

Lauv’s previous releases have collectively had over 700 million streams, with ‘I Like Me Better’ and ‘The Other’ clocking up over 475 million streams. Lauv recently made his TV debut performance on legendary US show Jimmy Kimmel.
