DJ/producer Wes James, aka Le Youth, has released ‘Selfish’ – his first single of 2019 and the follow up to last year’s hit ‘Stay’.

First catching the attention of the blogosphere with his 2013 hit ‘COOL’, Le Youth has since found success via ‘Dance With Me’, both of which topped Radio 1’s A-List. Furthermore, he has had Spotify chart success through the singles ‘If You’re Leaving’, ‘Me Without You’ and ‘I Could Always’ that feature MNDR.

His imprint Homewerk was launched in 2016 and produced a sold-out nationwide tour, before his first release on Parametric/Atlantic Records “Clap Your Hands” featuring Ava Max, went on to top Spotify’s US Viral Chart.

The track’s pulsating synth immediately demand attention, before the slightly distorted vocals begin to illustrate the story. Le Youth fuses elements of house with electro-pop tendencies, with the chorus being driven by a throbbing bassline.

The California native is currently keeping occupied with various performances around the US, with the release of ‘Selfish’ likely to add to his ever-increasing list of accomplishments.

‘Selfish’ is out now via Universal.
