Leftwing:Kody make their debut release on Tiësto’s AFTR:HRS label this month with the straight-up vocal progressive house banger ‘Gravity’ featuring the talents of UK singer Liz Cass.
The last 12 months have seen Leftwing:Kody hit dizzying new heights with the previous release ‘I Feel It’ racking up over 20 million streams combined as well as remixes from the likes of Paul Woolford and Boston Bun, Leftwing:Kody continue to build on their huge success with the release of ‘Gravity’.
Boasting an ear for quality house production with its thumping bass and uplifting hooks, ‘Gravity’ is a track that feels at home on your favourite playlist and at home dance-floors alike. Add catchy melodic vocals from Liz Cass, ‘Gravity’ takes a dark spin on progressive music whilst hitting all the right notes.
Discussing the release of ‘Gravity’, Leftwing:Kody says: ‘’It’s a pleasure to have reached Tiësto’s Radar with this track that we wrote with Liz Cass. His stature in this industry is huge so for him to pick a track of ours as one of the first releases for his new label means he trusts our sound and that’s a great honour. We are really excited about this one.’’
Since forming in 2012, Leftwing:Kody have gone on to become two of the UK’s finest exports. Both Mixmag and DJ Mag named them as ones to watch a mere year after they paired up, with DJ Mag even nominating them for ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ in their Best of British Awards. Since then the duo has gone on to present a monthly KISS FM show, earn residencies at Fabric (London) and Sankeys (Ibiza), as well as releases on Hot Creations, Toolroom, Ultra, Desolat, Moon Harbour, Circus, Solid Grooves & Knee Deep In Sound.
London singer Liz Cass has been steadily building up a strong portfolio across the electronic scene over the past 12 months, with her sultry vocal tones featuring on tracks from Hot Since 82, Bontan and Matador to name a few. Heavily on the BBC introducing radar with singles from her solo project on rotation she shows no sign of losing momentum.
Leftwing:Kody – Gravity (ft. Liz Cass) is set for release September 25th through Tiësto’s AFTR:HRS label.
