East Anglia’s eccentric singer, producer and inventor LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER returns with his latest single, Stupid Me.

Flirting at the line between upbeat rock and squelchy indie dance, Sam Battle says, “Stupid me is about… well just feeling pretty stupid, we all do at points, be it trying to get a song out and feeling stupid when it don’t come or just knocking stuff over.”

The accompanying music video for Stupid Me highlights the nuances and multifaceted aspects of Sam’s creative process:

“Half way through doing the video with a bit of green duvet acting as green screen..pinned to my wall I sort of decided to make the video as disorientating as I could with my vhs player to the point the second chorus nearly every frame is different, I got a bit carried away,, Its sort of trying to mimic your head being stupid”

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER released his second EP in 2020 and has played sold out live shows across the UK and Europe including a triumphant headline show at London’s XOYO. When he’s not making music, Sam is building organs out of Furbies, producing videos for LEGO, and his hugely successful YouTube channel. His videos for his creations including the Flamethrower Organ, the Synth Bike and Furby Organ, alongside various other online adventures have clocked up over 60 million views and he has almost half a million followers on YouTube regularly watching his videos.
This summer sees Sam opening The Museum of Everything Else in Ramsgate where he will showcase obsolete and experimental technology and home built machines. As well as housing many LMNC inventions and classic machines it will also be the home to special pieces by other multi-disciplinary artists that will be commissioned especially for the museum. Possibly the piece fans are most excited to see in person is the record breaking 1000 oscillator me gadrone.
