Dutch duo Lucas & Steve have been leaving their mark on the scene for a while already. Being responsible for quite some festival crowdpleasers the guys made it big with last year’s single ‘Up Till Dawn (On The Move)’, turning into one of summer 2017 most favored tunes, counting over 25 million streams by now.

Meanwhile, they hit their most successful summer season ever (including performances on Tomorrowland’s mainstage, Mysteryland, Sensation India, AMF Netherlands, WISH Outdoor Mexico, while touring the globe endlessly), and got asked by none other than Hardwell and KSHMR to remix their recent hit record ‘Power’.

For fellow Dutch artist Janieck it definitely was a special year as well. Known for his worldwide hit collab ‘Reality’ together with Lost Frequencies, and solo hit ‘Feel The Love’, the singer-songwriter made a strong return in 2017. First, he made it big with featuring on the Alle Farben hit song ‘Little Hollywood’, turning into a #1 Airplayhit in Germany; the single was also nominated for the 1Live Award ‘Beste Single’ of 2017.

Then, he released his single ‘Does It Matter’, clearly underlining the artist’s talent as a singer-songwriter. Using the 90’s dance classic ‘Better Off Alone’ by Alice Deejay as a starting point, Janieck made it his own with a special, intimate song. It resulted in millions of streams, critical acclaim and widespread media attention.

And now, both hit acts have teamed up for their exciting new single ‘You Don’t Have To Like It’. The record is a true blend of both acts’ trademark sounds, working up tender guitar chords and vocals with strong rhythms and housey drop. By the sound of it, this could very well become a festival and radio favorite for the next months – something both these acts have a patent on.
