Matisse & Sadko Don't Tell Me

The mighty Matisse & Sadko have started their 2019 with a resounding ‘bang’ following a weekend of shows at Dreamland Chile and Opium in Barcelona. Now they kick off their release schedule for the year with one of the standout tracks from their recent sets: Don’t Tell Me.

This beautiful track began life as an instrumental created by Matisse & Sadko and Aspyer. It was premiered in Matisse & Sadko’s Tomorrowland 2018 set, layered with the acapella from Avicii’s Fade Into Darkness to superb effect. After seeing what great reactions that track had, the trio decide to enlist the skills of Miami vocalist Matluck to provide an original vocal.

The singer’s sweet tones sound graceful over warm piano chords in the intro, the energy building up to the chorus and then the beautifully joyous sounds of the lead melody that explodes at the drop. Shuffling beats, driving bass and triumphant melody combine to make for a blissful crescendo.

Matluck previously collaborated with the likes of Nicky Romero, Dzeko, and Afrojack, with his songs featuring in Hollywood blockbuster films like 22 Jump Street and Get Hard. He also co-wrote Mau y Ricky’s smash hit Mi Mala, which has had over 130 million streams to date. This year will also see him release alongside Tritonal, among others.

Matisse & Sadko, Aspyer (ft. Matluck) Don’t Tell Me is released via STMPD RCRDS.
