Matt Barri, the high school EDM Producer/DJ and musician from Palos Verdes, CA, releases his second single with a collaboration with high school singer- songwriter concept artist Jenna Holiday.

Their single, “Go!,” produced by Barri with vocals and lyrics from Holiday, is released today by the Barri Creative LLC independent label. “Go!” is available now to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and Amazon.

“Go!” is a future bass-style track with melodic hooks, sci-fi cyberpunk influences and pop style arrangements, that can be blasted on the floor of a club or turned up on a ride to a festival, with lyrics that tell the story of a living-in-the-moment romance.

Barri and Holiday, two rising stars in the next generation of musical artists, met last summer at the prestigious GRAMMY Camp® in Los Angeles, where only 119 talented high school students were accepted out of thousands of applicants to participate the interactive music industry program. Between their synergy and love for music, it was just a matter of time before they took the relationship they developed at camp to the next level with the release of “Go!”.

“It was incredibly exciting working with Jenna on this song,” said Matt Barri. “Jenna has one the most incredible voices of our generation and I was totally floored with the captivating lyrics she composed and the product that she produced. I couldn’t believe how good it was and really made it easy for me.”

The multi-talented phenom is set to debut “Go!” live in concert on May 27th when he opens for Steve Aoki during his Memorial Day weekend performance at Papas & Beer in Playas De Rosarito, Mexico. Barri’s second music release comes after a successful debut in February with “All Out of Love,” a collaboration with electro-pop artist Emilie Brandt, well-known for her vocal performance on the chart-topping Illenium song “Lost”. Matt Barri is represented by W Music Management.

“Working with Matt on this collaboration was a dream come true!” said Jenna Holiday. “I’ve always had this twisted fantasy of writing for a future bass song and just having fun with lyrics that don’t have to matter, but just feel good. When Matt sent me the track, I was blown away and over the moon. Working with him has been a ball and I’m so excited for everyone to hear it!”

Holiday’s lyrics tell the story about someone who has lost at love so many times that they have become jaded and skeptical. The subjects find themselves in yet another prospective relationship, and although it seems wonderful on the surface, their skepticism keeps them from engaging. They seem to find reasons why it won’t work, but at the end of the day, they live in the moment and just say “WTF” and “Go!” for it.

Holiday, the Boston-based independent singer-songwriter best-known for her breakout debut single “21” which has garnered more than 425K organic plays on Spotify, has been recording new material in Boston and in Los Angeles. Holiday has been writing and playing music for as long as she can remember and approaches her craft like that of a storyteller; visualizing herself as more of the author of a story told through her music, rather than being the face of it. She is currently in discussions with record labels about a possible recording contract.

“Because of our age, people think that we are new to making music,” Barri added. “The fact of the matter is that we have been doing this for a long time already. For instance, Jenna is an amazing piano player and started playing 10 years ago, and I started playing violin when I was 3, and have been studying guitar for more than a decade now. We have been utilizing what we have learned as part of our traditional musical training into the music we’re creating today.”
