Breakout Dutch producer Mick Mazoo returned to Monstercat today with his first solo single following his debut collaboration with Danny Leax last summer.
“Happiness (Just A Pursuit)” is an upbeat, electrifying house track setting the tone for his anticipated performance at Tomorrowland later this month.
Featuring silky vocals from singer-songwriter Leela Rosa, it’s a euphoric track that evokes a sense of nostalgia for the early EDM sound just over ten years ago, which inspired Mick to pursue dance music. Knowing that it’s not always sunshine and rainbows, he doesn’t take the happy moments for granted and embraces the journey along the way.

Happiness also describes the setbacks that come from chasing it, creating my own take on a mainstage festival banger with the sounds that inspired the younger me.
