Music

Dutch DJ sensation Mike Williams continues his successful run with the latest single “I Got You”.

The highly energetic track is one that comes after his previous hit single “Wait Another Day” produced along with Mesto. “I Got You” is now out via Spinnin’ Records.

The track starts off in a classic fashion, which inventive chords and some moving melodies. As the piano chords take prominence, one is certainly left in awe by the overwhelming vocal works which add a lot of life into the song. Its infective energy and beautiful musical elements make this track club favorite.

’I wanted to make something with a cool chord progression and a nice melody, just something I like to produce and listen to. The vocal was a perfect fit for this track and when I played it live in front of an audience the reaction was amazing so I got super excited to release it!’’ – Mike Williams

After seeing a massive year in 2016, which got him the attention from Tiesto, the artist has risen leaps and bounds in a quick time. After the debut release “Sweet & Sour”, the artist released successful tracks like “Another Night”, “Bambini” and “Don’t Hurt”.

2017 saw Williams undertake a series of new, genre-crossing collabs, including team-ups with Lucas & Steve and Curbi (‘Let’s Go’), Brooks (‘Jetlag’), Dastic (‘You & I’) and Felix Jaehn, resulting in his biggest hit so far ‘Feel Good’ (currently counting over 112 million Spotify streams).

2018 saw him release the smash hit “Lullaby” with R3hab, and also performances at top stages including Ultra Miami. 2018 also saw the release of “Give It Up’ and “The Beat”, which got him the 66th spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 list.

I'm someone who constantly works at experiencing life better and enhancing my perception. Not allowing myself to be ruled by social norms, my way of living is an expression of my joy rather than the pursuit of happiness. Venturing into volunteering activities full time, I take time to write about things dear to me - which includes dance music! My passion for dance music started at the age of 15 which propelled me to host parties and promote dance music events! Today, I love seeing how the genre has evolved and wish to befriend more people to the genre!
