Canadian duo Moon Rush have released their debut single, a psychedelic trance number titled “Khonsu” on Liquid.
Hailing from Quebec City, Canada, Moon Rush have been making waves since their very first release. After working as solo producers for three years before banding together over the last two years, the duo has spent countless hours designing and crafting new synths and sounds in the studio.
Comprising of Enrick (21) and Matthieu-Charles (21), Moon Rush expressed their delight at releasing their first original mix on Liquid, which is an imprint of Spinnin’ Records.

An uplifting track filled with synths that remind one of the style heavily used in Eurotrance in the past, Khonsu starts off at a high pace before breaking down into an extended lull filled with atmospheric elements, before introducing the main melody of the track along with the vocals.
The track then builds to a crescendo before launching back into a classic, high-energy psy trance riff with Indian-influenced vocals.
The video itself depicts an animation of an astronaut’s journey to an unknown, desert planet where he discovers several pyramids before entering one.
