Originally from the Netherlands, now based in London. Electronic artist NATHASSIA has emerged in recent years as a musician and muse with a truly unique musical approach.
With her sound centred on the electronic, she presents a musical realm that is truly multicultural. Boasting a vocal as distinctive as Kate Bush, Mor Karbasi and Yasmin Levy, she delivers intricately crafted, boldly brilliant electronica that will re-shape how your perceive the genre.
The summer of 2017 saw Nathassia release the critically acclaimed debut album ‘Light Of The World’. A daring showcase of Nathassia’s artistic scope and influences. For the project, Nathassia worked with some of the UK’s leading producer talent, recruiting Stenchman & Pete Ardon. She also co-wrote the project with grammy award winning writer/producer Bruce Elliott-Smith. A lot of hard work, that would later bear fruit. The lead track currently sits on over 150K streams and was supported by DJ Mag, us and a number of influential online publications. She’s also amassed a vast fanbase from around the world, stretching as far as Greece, Egypt, Morocco as well as back home in the U.K.
The first offering of 2018 was the diverse & sonically progressive ‘Is Everybody Searching’ remix package. Recruiting Westfunk & DaaHype on remix duties, the release was a demonstration of the strength in depth of the producers on the EP. Next up, the global songwriter has shared her full, album project – A daring journey into electronica, EDM and songwriting.
