Hotly-tipped Liverpool DJ NAVOS has teamed up with Birmingham rapper Jaykae for an explosive rendition of ‘Believe Me’.

Built around NAVOS’ much-loved original, the latest rendition of ‘Believe Me’ flaunts Jaykae’s signature lyrical flow, bringing a new lease of life to the track. Jaykae’s remix follows a special acoustic version of NAVOS’ breakthrough hit which showcases original vocalist Abi Flynn’s singing abilities.

Released in January, the original of ‘Believe Me’ has since amassed a whopping 45 million Spotify streams, became a viral sensation on TikTok and received airplay from BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and Kiss FM.

Off the back of this success, NAVOS’ single has been remixed by Irish dance music favourite Krystal Klear and Hull DJ/producer Ben Rainey.

Hailing from humble beginnings in Liverpool where he worked in a furniture warehouse until late last year, Ross Harrington, better known as NAVOS has spent the last few years honing his craft as a tech-house artist. Drawing inspiration from Sonny Fodera and MK, the self-taught 21-year-old caught the attention of Island Records with early singles ‘Foolin Me’ and ‘Outta Love’, with Island then signing him to release ‘Believe Me’.

A prominent member of the Birmingham grime scene, Jaykae has toured with the likes of Skepta, Drake and Stormzy. His 2017 single Toothache was received to critical acclaim, earning silver certification in the UK and featuring in the Netflix series Power.

Most recently, he scored a top 20 Gold-certified record for his collaboration with Nathan Dawes on ‘Flowers’, and achieved a UK #1 for his feature on the official ‘Take Me Back To London’ remix by Ed Sheeran, Stormzy & Aitch.

With NAVOS continuing his ascent up the UK Singles Chart, the arrival of the Jaykae remix is perfect timing for the summer months ahead. Melding both of their musical styles together to serve an effortless production, NAVOS and Jaykae’s energetic remix is set to add to the massive success surrounding ‘Believe Me’.
