Nazaar and Pixel Terror form an almighty alliance with their first-ever collaborative effort, “Imperial.”

Even though the heat has not even begun to dissipate from his very recent Bassrush label debut, “Overlocked,” Nazaar wastes no time in punching up another sure-fire assault on the senses with his follow-up single. The Pakistani producer has recruited some extra hands this time around, however, recruiting the help of the digital-savvy duo of Ahrya and Bentley—together known as Pixel Terror—to create an east-meets-west union resulting in a supercharged co-produced cut called “Imperial.”

Planting their flag and establishing dominion over the bass music scene together, the two dynamic projects coalesce perfectly on their collab. There’s a feeling of beguiling calmness presented at first, as the fog of war slowly starts to seep into the foreground through twinkling keys and tension-building arpeggiations. Like armies clashing violently on the battlefield, mayhem quickly erupts as the pairing unleashes their full potential with an intense progression of laser-powered synth riffs, pummeling bottom-end, digitized fills, and rapid-fire bursts of bass that will not take any prisoners. With both artists working side-by-side to divide-and-conquer this dubstep beast, anyone caught in its path doesn’t stand a chance.

Nazaar has been quickly rising up the ranks with a steady output that has seen him toss out heavy hitters for renowned stables such as Never Say Die and Excision Music. He’s been hunkering down in the studio, quietly piecing together a full package for the Bassrush Records crew. The hype he has racked up as of late is neck-and-neck with that of Pixel Terror, having made remarkable strides in the bass space through a healthy catalog that has seen them take their trademark style to labels from the likes of Monstercat, Welcome Records, and Dim Mak. “Imperial” is a ruckus-bringing record that’s ready to make the dancefloor rumble.
