Martial Simon, previously known as DJ Martial, releases his second single “Let’s Hear It For The Boy” cementing his emerging role as producer and label owner.

The infectious cover debuted on Hollywood Hamilton’s RT30 show, which is syndicated on over 150+ stations across North America.

“Let’s Hear It For The Boy” follows his debut original single “Kryptonite,” which amassed nearly 300K plays on Spotify since releasing last fall on his label GET SET Records.

Martial Simon spent quarantine pivoting from working as both a DJ and booking agent, to focusing on his production career and launching his own label.

The New York-based artist spent the last two decades performing across the country under his DJ Martial moniker, and has been profiled in outlets like Page 6, Daily News, US Weekly, and Wall Street Journal (press coverage here). He also runs SET Artist Management, where he books more than 200 DJs a week across North America (press coverage here).

“Let’s Hear It For The Boy” is out now via his newly-minted label GET SET Records, which Simon founded as a new avenue to showcase music he believes in. Instead of securing bookings for DJs as their agent, Simon will continue championing talented artists by signing them under the wing of his own brand.

Martial Simon has a very distinct sound that bridges feel good all time classics with deep electro, which translates perfectly with his new single. “Let’s Hear It For The Boy” turns a funky, bass-driven nu-disco beat to the 80s dance hit, covering the original soulful vocals of Grammy-Award winning singer Denice Williams. It’s playful, catchy, and guaranteed to soon be making the rounds at clubs, roller rinks, and pool parties this summer.
