Cross-genre music powerhouse and GUD VIBRATIONS record label co-founder NGHTMRE, best known for songs “REDLIGHT” with A$AP Ferg and “GUD VIBRATIONS” with SLANDER, has teamed up with American electronic artist KLAXX and Olympic skateboarder Elliot Sloan for the music video for “The One.”

The trippy video follows NGHTMRE, KLAXX, Sloan, and friends as they skate through NGHTMRE’s upcoming ‘DRMVRSE’ album concept. The soul-stirring festival anthem is the second single of NGHTMRE’s long-awaited upcoming debut album, which releases later this year, and follows March’s “Fall Into Me” with SLANDER featuring Dylan Matthew.

The music video captures listeners attention with the dynamic sounds of “The One” while giving viewers a glimpse into NGHTMRE’s ‘DRMVRSE’ vision, which was first introduced at NGHTMRE’s ‘Into The DRMVRSE’ event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in April. Filmed partially at the halfpipe of longtime friend and five time X Games medalist Elliot Sloan’s house in Vista, CA, the bright music video follows NGHTMRE, KLAXX, Elliot and friends as they skate through the neon, blissful atmosphere of the DRMVRSE.

The music video for “The One” is not the first time NGHTMRE and Elliot have collaborated to combine their passions of music and skating, as they previously produced The Highlands, a live-streamed Insomniac event that featured legendary professional skateboarders including Tony Hawk sharing a halfpipe with electronic artists NGHTMRE, Ghastly, and Wavedash, in 2020.

“The One” really gives me a nostalgic feeling while listening to it. We tried to capture that in the video as well. The vibe is a nostalgic day skating around the DRMVRSE with friends. The directing of James Winterhalter and VFX done by Ryan Johnston on this are truly insane! He is an absolute beast and crushed it on this video. If you pay attention closely, You’ll start to notice recurring characters in all the DRMVRSE videos. I’m extremely excited to release this piece of the story.” – NGHTMRE

“A month ago, Tyler and I got together a team of insanely talented creatives and skaters to film a music video for our song ‘the one’. i’ve never been part of something like this and it was so damn fun. we filmed for like 8+ hours, i sprained my wrist and bruised my rib attempting to skate like i used to in 6th grade LOL, and I got way too sunburnt, but man it was so fun experiencing this. music video drops Wednesday, and it’s so fucking sick ❤️‍🔥” – KLAXX

Over the past few years, NGHTMRE has had a whirlwind career – quickly moving from an unknown producer remixing famous tracks to uploading collaborations with some of the greatest names in the music industry.

Since gaining major recognition with his 2015 single, “Street,” the American producer has released a string of hits and participated in a multitude of universally recognized music festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Life In Color Festival, and more. Coupled with his ear for electro house music and contagious, easy going personality, the producer has become one of the most talked about names in the industry, being dubbed as one of the next household names in dance music.

KLAXX, the Southern California based electronic artist is one of the industry’s leading musical storytellers. In each song, the producer strives to release hypnotic music and beats that will whisk fans to another world, wrapping them in euphoria and bliss.

Debuting with a remix of NGHTMRE’s “Holdin’ On To Me” in 2016, KLAXX has continued to showcase his diverse style of melodic vibes, rhythmic bass, and inspiring productions that sets him apart from any other artist. Working with bass music staples, KLAXX has partnered with Slander, Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, NGHTMRE, and others, with his release with NGHTMRE being “Falling” from 2021.

NGHTMRE performed twice at Ultra Music Festival this year and headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater for his ‘INTO THE DRMVRSE’ performance in April with support from Kill The Noise, where he debuted all new visuals, merchandise, and a unique AR-powered brochure that, that included a QR code to scan that transforms into a 3D MP3 player loaded with unreleased music. He has a tenured residency with Tao Group and recently performed at EDC Las Vegas with Big Giantic as Gigantic NGHTMRE.
