Nic Fanciulli reveals the delicately crafted official video for his wistful track ‘The Light’, a beautiful black & white production sketched by acclaimed artist, Brendan Huza.

The film-maker, turned digital artist and animator, is an award winning creative director currently based in California, and has previously worked with the likes of Ellie Goulding, The Velvet Underground, and Aretha Franklin, and is en route to earning Genero’s ‘Director of the Year’ award.

The track, taken from Nic’s album ‘My Heart’ features the recognisable sample from Kanye West’s ‘Flashing Lights’ and embodies a melodic melancholy which showcases Nic’s diverse production skills, with the emotive video matching the haunting vocals of CONSTANCE.

A name synonymous with electronic music culture, Nic Fanciulli is part of the generation of DJs that were formative of the revolution of dance music in Ibiza. His career has spanned two decades at the forefront of the UK underground scenes, with ‘The Light’ acting as an amalgamation of these experiences and passions.

The track is taken from ‘My Heart’, a creative space where Nic set out to delve into new and experimental soundscapes, exploring a variety of musical landscapes, moods, and emotions.
