Nookie was a pivotal member of the hardcore techno scene in the nineties and this influence has stretched across a range of subgenres, from Jungle to House music.
Releasing tracks on labels like Labello Blanco, Reinforced, Moving Shadow or Good Looking, he continues with a brand-new single on Metalheadz, a natural progression from his acclaimed remix of Goldie’s ‘Inner City Life’.
Already receiving support from Radio 1 legend Pete Tong, the Rage mix of ‘Kaeya’ hits store today. With deep, thumping sub bass and rhythmic kick drums sitting underneath the track, heightened by its vocals this is a track which speaks of the current climate and proof that club-orientated tracks are still having an impact on home audiences.
