David Nothaker, a.k.a Notaker has released his latest single “Into The Light”. The track features the amazing vocals from Karra and is now out on the Monstercat imprint.
Illuminating right from the first second, the track truly offers a very pleasant feeling. Robotic tunes, the enticing vocal run in the background and the dreamy melodies make give the track a strong footing before entering the bass heavy, and thumping drop. Intimate in its feel, the track uses a lot of forest-like sounds, giving you a feeling of being transported to a land unknown. The self-taught producer from St. Louis has been one of the most unique finds in recent years. Having grown up reading materials and going through tutorials by himself, he has crafted himself into a refined proponent of new-age electronic dance music.
Having been introduced by Monstercat in 2016 with the hit single “Infinite”, the artist has quickly grown phenomenally in a short span. The song has had immense success amassing over seven million streams on Spotify and being affiliated with global brands such as GoPro. He followed up with “Gems” and “Shimmer” on the label and later sang “Born in the Flames” with Armada Music and “Abyss” with Mau5trap. His “The Genesis” EP, also released on Monstercat has already garnered more than one and a half million times.
He has seen immense support from the likes of Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, Seven Lions, Gareth Emery, Arty, Thomas Gold, Sander van Doorn and many more.
