Electronic music fans have been kept busy through the start of 2023, in a large part courtesy the incredible amount of exciting releases coming from Skrillex after years.
However, earlier today, ODESZA jumped on the surprise release bandwagon and dropped a track out of nowhere.
As they shared on social media announcing the release “Hopeful” did not make it onto their last album ‘The Last Goodbye’ however, it encapsulates the time the duo spent away from the world while writing the record. The album earned the duo a Grammy nomination under the ‘Best Dance/ Electronic Album’ category, which Beyonce eventually took home the award for for ‘Renaissance.’
This one never made the album but we always felt it was special and in a way encapsulated our time away from the world while writing the record. Hopeful is out now.https://t.co/Vq1ulPAulz

Aptly named, the track has the signature ODESZA mark with the synth-heavy and melodic feels with a resounding vocal line exuding a since of positivity and hope. While the track didn’t make it to the album, the duo dropped it often during their live shows and it sure was one fans were waiting to see a release.
Stream or Buy ‘Hopeful’ which is out now on the duo’s own Foreign Family Collective imprint here.
