After making his Monstercat debut earlier this year, Polish house producer OVSKY has teamed up with kawaii-inspired producer MYLK for their collaborative single, “Other Side.”
Written during the throes of the pandemic, the track serves as a positive outlook on better days to come as we emerge from the ‘other side’ of this new reality. The bright plucks, crisp percussion, and warm basses mix perfectly together, creating an uplifting soundscape unique to each artist’s sound design. Inspired by her own long-distance relationships, MYLK’s beautiful vocals add a layer of raw emotion and depth to the earworm melodies.
OVSKY shares, “I’m super happy to come back to one of my all-time favourite labels. It still feels unreal to be a part of it. And especially that this is the first track with original vocals (could also count as a first collab) with such a talented artist as MYLK. This track was created during the pandemic, and I hope it will help those who are struggling in these tough times.”
