Paul van Dyk has today announced that he will present a special release event for “Music Rescues Me”, his ninth album and second in consecutive years, at London’s Printworks.

“Music Rescues Me” follows 2017’s From Then On, and will be released later this Fall. Paul is the first trance artist to perform at the London venue, a demonstration to his continued dedication to pushing boundaries.

As one of electronic music’s seminal and pioneering figures Paul van Dyk continues to push his chosen genre of trance forward. The last two years have seen Paul invigorated with creativity, writing new music as well as launching a new live show. This has coincided with a resurgence in the popularity of trance around the world with Paul at the forefront. Both Symbols and From Then On see Paul exploring the sounds of trance with renewed purity and focus.

“’Music Rescues Me’ is an album deeply rooted in story-telling, mystery and adventure,” said van Dyk. “It’s an exploration of trance, a journey through the breadth and depth of a genre that continues to enthrall me as an artist.”

Paul van Dyk will celebrate “Music Rescues Me” with a performance at Printworks in London, one of the premier venues to emerge in the UK in recent years. The Printworks show will be the first opportunity for fans to experience van Dyk’s new album, which will be released shortly thereafter. Previously a newspaper printing factory, Printworks is an industrial juggernaut of a club and has quickly become one of the top nightclubs in all of Europe – a fitting venue for the first live performance of “Music Rescues Me”.

“Shows like these are a testament to the musicality and the popularity of trance,” added van Dyk. “I am proud to continue to open up new spaces and people to our music, and doing so in a beautiful venue like Printworks is a dream come true. I’ve always felt that the UK has one of the most attuned audiences in regards to trance and I’m tremendously grateful for all the support I’ve received from the London crowd over the years. Printworks seems to be the ideal venue to debut the album in a live setting. It will be a very special show.”

In addition to recording his album, PvD has remained busy throughout the summer with his weekly residency at SHINE Ibiza at Privilege’s Vista Club, every Monday through to September 17th. He’s also gearing up for a string of tour dates across North America leading up to the album release and will be playing iconic festivals such as Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and Dreamstate NorCal and Mexico in the coming weeks.
