Following the release of “The Ride” earlier this month, Monstercat veterans Pegboard Nerds and electronic duo More Plastic returned to the label today for their bass-fueled single, “Murda.”
Drawing inspiration from old-school dubstep, the multifaceted producers have modernized the classic sound through a combination of boundary-pushing elements from each of their signature styles. As the fifth official collaboration between Pegboard Nerds and More Plastic, “Murda” brings an experimental flavor to their genre palette with its thumping drums, gritty basses, and energetic synth lead, taking listeners on a high-octane nostalgic musical journey.
