Monstercat veterans and multifaceted producers Pegboard Nerds returned to the label today accompanied by electronic sibling duo More Plastic for their high-energy drum & bass single, “The Ride.”
A collaboration long in the making, “The Ride” represents the journey both artists have taken while working with each other over the past couple of years. Blending genres and personalities, they channel their vast creativity and musical prowess into gritty basslines and thumping drums.
The inclusion of the processed synth lead in the drop gives the track a melodic, old-school dubstep feel, a surprising twist to the traditional drum & bass sound. Having already earned support from major DJs on this release, Pegboard Nerds and More Plastic are eager to share their adrenaline-pumping record with the world.
