Dubstep fans, mark your calendars! Phocust is set to release his highly anticipated EP titled ‘Showtime’ on May 18th, 2023.

The EP features four electrifying tracks and promises to deliver a high-energy listening experience that will leave fans craving more.

The tracklist includes ‘Old Skool,’ a nod to the classic dubstep sound that has influenced this project. ‘The Show,’ a hard-hitting track with intense bass drops and aggressive synths. ‘Step,’ a collaboration with Evalution that fuses varied elements of dubstep to create a unique sound, and ‘Bad Boy Flow,’ a gritty and dynamic track that showcases Phocust’s versatility as a producer.

“For this EP I really wanted to show some respect to the old school dubstep sound that we all know and love. I dove into my roots a little bit and came up with some sounds that I thought might complement the more modern dubstep you hear these days. I also got the chance to try some new vocal techniques out as well as singing solo in a song of my own for the first time. Very happy with this EP, I know it’s gonna hit different for those true dubstep OGs. It’s Showtime BABY!!”

Phocust attended his first EDM show featuring Skrillex and Deadmau5 when he turned 16 years old, Phocust left feeling inspired to make electronic music and shortly after ended up playing his first show at an Electronic Tuesday. Following that he headlined his own show at Cervantes’ and Larimer Lounge. After taking some time away from the club scene to self-reflect, Phocust says that it is his faith that led him to return and share his love for the music and his love for the people in the EDM culture.

‘Showtime’ will be released on May the 18th!
