Genic’s debut album ‘Rough Nights’ hits stores everywhere tomorrow and to celebrate we’ll be premiering the track ‘Think’ which comes from the LP dropping on Dispatch Recordings.

A respected, underground drum & bass label Dispatch have helped to nurture this forthcoming project and it showcases some of the duo’s best work to date.

Pre-pandemic they were frequent faces across some of Europe’s mainstay clubs, including Le Bikini, and their influences are eclectic. With their roots including Dnb, Techno, Classic and UK Hip Hop as well as Reggae, their experience shines through throughout ‘Rough Nights’. Meanwhile Xtrah, DJ Hype (with Genic having previously released on the seminal Playaz through their collaboration), Doc Scott, Noisia, Rene LaVice and Ant TC1 (Dispatch’s label head) have consistently supported Genic’s work, with the album being no different.

‘Think’ is the darker side to the track list, with finely tuned drum work and a bassline driving you directly through the mix. It serves as an entry into the clubs reopening within the pair’s home country this month.
