Love Harder returns to Ultra Music with ‘The Love Songs’, a stunning collaboration with the hugely talented singer and songwriter RØRY.
Love Harder is the dance music alter-ego of award-winning producer Will Simms and he arrived with a bang in 2020 crashing through 100 million streams with a string of massive collabs and original tracks. Kicking off the year with RØRY is a statement of intent. This incredible artist brings her solo project to life in 2021 after hitting half a billion streams, releasing multi-platinum records including UK Top 10 and US Billboard Top 30 smash ‘Post Malone’ with Sam Feldt. These two artists bring their own distinct styles to a create a sublime slice of electronic pop/dance.
As a songwriter and producer, Will Simms has credits and co-writes for acts as diverse as Aloe Blacc, Lady Leshurr, CLiQ and Robin M, to name a few. Love Harder came to life as an outlet for his lifelong love of dance music and immediately refused to take a back seat as he dropped a series of big tracks last year including ‘Fall In My Arms’ with Embody, ‘Cruel’ with Gattuso, and ‘I Know What You Did Last Night’ with Sondr, as well as ‘All I Want’ – his own big electronic rework of Kylie’s seminal hit ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’.
RØRY brings an innate ability to write melodic and lyrical hooks which grab the listener and refuse to let go. Alongside the global smash ‘Post Malone’ she’s co-written one of the biggest dance tracks of recent years, ‘Feel My Needs’ by Weiss, Alison Wonderland’s ‘Peace’ as well as releases with Conor Maynard, Grey, ILIRA and more. Now she brings her unique style to ‘The Love Songs’ as well as razor sharp, bittersweet lyrics that tell how a love song can only be written once you have loved someone and lost them.
Love Harder’s production is on point as always. The choppy synths are clean and stripped back allowing RØRY’s beautiful vocals to soar as the drums build and the minimal bassline drives the track forwards. The chorus is immediately catchy and leaves a lasting impression.
Love Harder continues his musical journey on Ultra Music. He and RØRY have found a perfect home for this sound in the US dance music powerhouse, which has also been home to some of dance music’s biggest names including Calvin Harris, Kygo, deadmau5, Black Coffee, MK and many more.
