Almost exactly fifteen months after coming forth with its first ever release, Armada Music sub label Armada Trice has reached the landmark of one hundred releases.

APA – ‘Johnny’, which has been a heavily requested ID of Tomorrowland, claims its spot as the 100th release of the imprint.

The saga of Armada Trice started with the release of Arston feat. Jake Reese – ‘Circle Track’ on October 13th, 2014, which immediately got picked up by a broad range of world-renowned DJs, producers and radio show hosts. Soon after, big names, including Dash Berlin (15th in the DJ Mag Top 100), joined the imprint, fueling the explosive growth of the label.

The label’s highlights comprise a multitude acclaimed releases, including Hook N Sling’s Remix of Lana Del Rey – ‘Ultraviolence’, Dash Berlin’s collaboration with John Dahlbäck and Bullysongs called ‘Never Let You Go’, and Vigel’s club-destroying smash ‘SQRT’. Each of these releases showcases the trademark sound and versatility of the label, which seeks the balance between powerful dance floor devastators and radio-friendly vocal tracks.

Onno van Kemenade, A&R manager Armada Trice: “APA – ‘Johnny’ is a ‘real’ festival track. This one pounds like a beast and turns the dance floor inside out. There really isn’t any other way to celebrate such a milestone, and we are glad that such a powerful tune found its way to the imprint. What better way to blast ourselves into the next series of one hundred releases than by putting out a monster of a tune like this one!”
