Elk Road ft. Governors – Not To Worry (NINE LIVES Remix)

0

There seems to be a pattern emerging in the remix choices of Nine Lives, one which makes them curators as much as producers.

Following tasteful remixes from emerging indie acts Louis The Child and Michl, Nine Lives now releases their latest work for emerging Australian indie act Elk Road on his latest release “Not To Worry”. The theme continues as they give their own interpretation to a very beautiful choice of vocals, not only sharing the world with their work but also exposing their growing fanbase to the original artists they are curating and remixing. Every track they tease us with gets better and better, meaning this is only the beginning for Nine Lives.

The enigmatic duo has made their impact thus far by remixing vocal tracks with a melodic bass vibe. It’s a niche space in the music industry occupied by artists such as Adventure Club, and one that was begging for a makeover. Nine Lives brings a fresh perspective to the world of vocal bass music, and people are paying attention – their remix of Michl’s “Kill Our Way to Heaven” grossed over 150,000 plays on Soundcloud in the first two weeks it was released. Every track they tease us with gets better and better, meaning this is only the beginning for the duo. Tune in to the premiere of “Not to Worry” on The Fader.
