Released earlier this year, electro-pop duo Reyko – made up of singer Soleil and producer Gavin Moss – garnered much attention with their debut single “Spinning Over You.”
It’s now been given the remix treatment by Turkish/Dutch producer, DJ and businessman Burak Yeter, with Universal Music Sweden picking this one up for licensing and release purposes.
Yeter’s remix takes a few elements of the original while throwing his own sounds and twisting them into a more tropical house sound – splashes of subtle guitar riffs, flutes and rising melodies allow Soleil’s effortlessly dreamy vocal do its magic over the top. A nice little update contained here.
