Riddim Commission – Shells EP

Riddim Commission

From viral originals singles like “Ho! Riddim” Ft. P Money, to official remixes for Drake and Iggy Azalea, to all-star collaborations with artists like Eve, UK production duo Riddim Commission have established themselves as go-to sonic influencers thanks to their genre-defying blend of house, garage, and grime elements. Comprised of Marco Del Horno (Bullet Train Records, BBC Radio 1Xtra & Rinse FM host) and Swerve (KISS FM / Dirtee Stank), the duo are now unveiling the next chapter of their legacy with a brand new EP titled ‘Shells.’

Out now via Bullet Train Records, ‘Shells’ hears Del Horno and Swerve flex for the club set with the new three-track project. Kicking off with BBC Radio 1, Beats1, and Rinse FM supported lead single “Beggin’,’ the track sees Riddim Commission team up with Leon Lour to collaborate on an 123 BPM house anthem. Following, the duo then team up with fellow UK tastemaker Sinden on “Africa” for a balmy dance-meets-tribal production best suited for the underground. Finally to close of the EP, Riddim Commission drop original single “Drop It To The Floor.” A fusion of four-on-the-floor rhythms, synth, and breaks, “Drop It To The Floor” is a trailblazing peak-hour tune that will find a welcome home among fans of artists like Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet.

Up next, the duo will be preparing for their debut album due out in early 2017. Until more details emerge on that project, tide yourself over with their last release- a remix of Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” here.
