Israeli born, LA-based DJ duo RIOT has revealed their latest single Overkill.
The release comes just before their shows in Atlanta and Denver on the 16th and 24th of November respectively. Overkill is now out on Monstercat.
Starting off with a bass-line that is dynamic, and some vocals going on in the background, the track displays rich electric guitar works right from the start. The rock influences are very evident in terms of how it is produced, while the use of an incredible dubstep drop will make you go nuts! Their signature style of creating a gripping opening that culminates into something powerful is also displayed in this track. With a pulsating second-drop, the duo takes you by surprise! Definitely a treat for all those who cherish rock and electronic music at the same time.
The duo which comprises Tom Davidson and Daniel Magid recently moved to LA to set their career ablaze, by amplifying the reach of their signature melodies and heavy bass-lines. Their style mixes two extremes of electronic music which energizes their fanbase to make an immediate impression and memory that can last a lifetime. Their well-known remixes have been produced for music from the likes of Infected Mushroom, Knife Party and Pegboard Nerds.
Their music has seen releases on revered labels like Dim Mak, Monstercat and Insomniac Records – thanks to Beatport chart-topping music that they produced. Their artistic flair and high-energy has seen immense support from the likes of Borgore, Dillon Francis, Excision, Kayzo, and Carnage.
The next few days look solid for the duo as they set out to play at the Georgia World Congress Center on the 16th of November and the National Western Complex, Denver, on the 24th of November. With much more new music lined up, we can hope to see a stellar year-end for them and an even better 2019!
