Rootkit releases the perfect gaming track – Oh You

EDM Artists Music Rootkit

The time to treat ourselves to a line of gaming tracks has just begun. Rootkit releases a brand new track on the Rocketleague X Monstercat Vol. 5 album, marking the second release of the album. This track comes after the first release of the album “Badlands” by Rogue.

To kick things off, the track displays some sub-melodies which lead into a gentle, but a bass-heavy spree of beats. The captivating guitar riff will certainly get you hooked to the production, while the laidback nature of the track itself gives you a new sense of relief. Gentle synth-works impact the track in a big way, as it approaches the climax. A quiet climax is apt for the nature of its production and you will certainly like that!

The Norwegian producer Rootkit is changing the way we look at young musicians. While we assume that any teenager achieving success before their twenties must have had a serious musical background, Rootkit or better known by his friends as Kashif is virtually self-taught. After tinkering on programs such as FL Studios and Ableton, Rootkit eventually solidified his sound into something that can only really be described as energetic and melodic while cutting out much of the cheesiness that is beginning to take over the dance music scene.

With releases like “Do It” “Too Late”, the artist has shown his potential to the global audience.
As a talented musician who was aware of his potential, he knew that he had the
ability to shape his career by his standards, which is why he claims that he chose
to start out on Monstercat.

His music definitely portrays a mature understanding of music and a taste for production that will enthrall a global audience. Listen to this groovy track and leave your comments on it below. Download the track here.

I'm someone who constantly works at experiencing life better and enhancing my perception. Not allowing myself to be ruled by social norms, my way of living is an expression of my joy rather than the pursuit of happiness. Venturing into volunteering activities full time, I take time to write about things dear to me - which includes dance music! My passion for dance music started at the age of 15 which propelled me to host parties and promote dance music events! Today, I love seeing how the genre has evolved and wish to befriend more people to the genre!
