Rudimental

Rudimental, has been one of the most successful acts of the UK. They have released their third studio album, ‘Toast To Our Differences’.

‘Let Me Live’ is a major track of the album which features one of the hottest collaborations of the year, with Major Lazer. The track also features last year’s latest pop find, Anne-Marie, Afro-Beat star Mr Eazi and additional vocals from Grammy – winning South African choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Having such a great set of people who have worked on it, the song is really a happy number; quite lively and celebratory in its energy. The video has been directed by the South African, Chris Saunders, and it features a lot of colours, dance and happiness. The setting begins in London- in a grey and boring street and slowly shifts to a more amazing and vibrant setting in Johannesburg. The video is inspired by a high- energy dance form originating in Johannesburg- called Pantsula along with Durban’s Gqom music scene.

The music which is groovy and very peculiar, just the way every Rudimental and Major Lazer track is, and adds a peppy flavor to it. It is sure to make you dance no matter what situation you’re in.

We already know the reputation that Major Lazer carry. They are one of the most happening collectives, always coming up with tracks that go viral and their videos are one of the best you’ll see. They feature on Spotify as one of the Top 10 most-listened to artists. They trio have collaborated with the likes of Justin Bieber, on ‘Cold Water’, which hit #1 on Billboard and stayed in the top lists for a long time.
Their biggest hit till date has been the 2013 banger, ‘Lean On’, garnering billions of views and streams till date.

Rudimental, has to its name, Platinum selling ‘These Days’ and their Double-Platinum selling album ‘Home’, making them one of the most influential acts of the UK and worldwide. They earned the Mercury Prize nomination for ‘Home’. Their second album ‘We The Generation’, saw the mammoth hit ‘Lay It All On Me’ Ft. Ed Sheeran.

The collective will be curating a weekly residency at Ibiza Rocks and will go on their biggest tour till date, in the UK, after the release of ‘Toast To Our Differences’ later this September.

It sure is going to be a stomper of a year for them!
