Receiving immense support from many acts in the international space, the Australian trio SAFIA are on the rise. There was never a better time for a new track release which comes in the form of the single – Starlight. It was earlier premiered on Triple J radio in Australia.
Having debuted the track live this summer at the Splendour in the Grass Festival, the trio has created something really beautiful here. Really distinct in its production style, the track embodies vocals that sound rich and addictive. The tempo is just right for an immersive experience, as the melodic bits constantly play their role in enchanting you. With a really bright climax, SAFIA has surely shown us why they are hailed as one of Australia’s biggest live electronic acts.

Growing immensely, the trio has just finished their works supporting Twenty One Pilots on their Emotional Roadshow and also have debuted in China at Shangai’s Concrete & Grass Festival. As festival favorites, SAFIA has also been announced on a number of upcoming line-ups including This That, Beyond the Valley, Origin Fields, The Grass is Greener and a headline slot for Corona Sunsets.
Breaking into the scene first in 2015, the trio which comprises of Ben Woolner, Michael Bell, and Harry Sayers, got recognized with their features on Alison Wonderlands’s Taking It To Reality and Peking Duk’s Take Me Over, which was a massive hit.
The band dropped their debut album Internal in 2016, landing SAFIA at #2 on the ARIA album charts and #1 on iTunes. At the end of 2017, SAFIA followed-up with the single ‘Cellophane Rainbow,’ racking up over 2 MILLION streams and released a second single ‘Freakin’ Out’ earlier this year, which has become a fan favorite with over 1 million streams and the special release of an acoustic version.
