Saka is stepping out with the first offering from his impending EP with an aggressive acid-tinged single by the name of “Esper.”

Operating out of Los Angeles, Saka is a bright new talent that has been catapulting across the bass music space with a boundary-breaking sound that transcends genres constraints with tremendous ease. The emerging beat technician is ready to make his biggest statement yet via his debut EP, which shows him exploring the art of storytelling by creating a conceptual release revolving around the narrative of a “a girl who is ripped from her own timeline into a cyberpunk, dystopian, apocalyptic future.”

“Esper” is the first single taken from the forthcoming the six-track offering, and it’s a heart-racing half-time joint ripe with exhilarating phrasing and blood-pumping arrangements.

“In ‘Esper’, she is directly trying to escape from a laboratory from her captors. It’s full of aggressive acid-inspired synths, arps, and also features heavy-hitting basses,” says Saka.

Built on a half-time framework, the track opens up with bubbling synth lines and cinematic pads to help set the stage for our protagonist on the run Once the tension reaches its breaking capacity, the chase commences as the listener is taken along for an escapade through fast-paced warbling acid licks, complex 808 broken beats, a maze of bass hits, metallic one-shots, and interesting switch-ups to keep you guessing every turn of the way. Saka clearly knows his way around the left-field, and “Esper” only drives the hype for the full EP through the roof.
