Following recent releases “Champagne & Pizza” and “Deep Inside,” new track “Blind Side” sees Sevenn join forces with Turkish producer Ilkay Sencan and renowned singer/songwriter Patrik Jean.
Out on all platforms July 1st, “Blind Side” fuses the distinct production styles of Sevenn and Ilkay Sencan with Patrik’s illustrious cadence. The record kicks off with riveting vocal chops from the Swedish singer before descending into a powerful swell of sound. A soulful oasis of Sevenn’s semi-dark soundscapes and scintillating beatwork, “Blind Side” hits the feels in all the right places from start to finish.
“When I first heard the vocal for ‘Blind Side’ after Ilkay sent it to me, I immediately fell in love and started building a structure around it, giving it a deeper and more dramatic vibe. Curiously, I did a lot of the work using only laptop speakers while in my laundry area, just to get a different flavor creatively. The song mixes progressive deep house vibes with a new kind of sound and a syncopated lead that carries you into a sonically fascinating world.
