Bass act sfam, who are from Mississippi, are the latest act to have been called upon by UZ to bring an EP out on his own platform Quality Goods Records.
The pair has obliged, and the result is a pretty mind-blowing set of five cuts titled “Expand.”
A collaboration kick-starts the EP, and “Embellish” ft. vocalist Quaviusblack is stuttering and laced with grime energy. “Wuts Gud” is busy and off-kilter, whilst “Yo” ft. Bawldy is the chance to enjoy something a bit darker. Closing off business is the fiery title track and the hard-hitting “Go” – we are already keen to hear more from sfam.
