Dance-music duo Sigma release their new single “Rest Of My Life (featuring Shakka)” today via 3Beat/Astralwerks. It follows their recent single “Sell My Soul (featuring Maverick Sabre).”

“Rest Of My Life” sees Sigma incorporating dancehall and reggae into their trademark sound, producing a feel-good hit-in-the-making, allowing Shakka’s soulful vocals to take center stage.

“Shakka is such a unique talent. Great ideas, amazing vocals and such a sick writer. We sat with him for a few days in the shire and cooked up a few bangers, “Rest Of My Life” being one of them.” says Sigma, “The track is about when two people meet each other and have that instant connection that you just know you have to keep exploring, you can imagine spending the rest of your life with that person, whether that be romantically or friendship. It’s essentially an upbeat love song.”

Made up of Londoners Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie, Sigma is one of the few UK dance acts to land big in the world of pop scoring two No.1 singles in the UK with “Nobody To Love” and “Changing (featuring Paloma Faith).” and having sold over 100,000 copies of their debut LP Life in addition to garnering over 450 million YouTube views. Sigma have collaborated with a wide range of artists from Rita Ora, Quavo, Birdy, Tinie Tempah, and more.

Sigma’s pairing came at a time when Joe was running DJ workshops for children with disabilities in Hertfordshire, and Cam was sorting flights and travel for the likes of Pendulum and Chase & Status at a company in Harrow. Gaining early support from BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Annie Mac, their first commercial breakthrough came with DJ Fresh collaboration “Lassitude.” The guys have come a long way and in their ongoing journey have already received praise from The Guardian in addition to performing on UK national TV stages, EDC, Reading and Leeds, London’s Brixton Academy, Glastonbury, and more.
