Danish DJ/producer Snavs returns with a fresh dose of trap excitement, working up his ‘Dreams’ alongside Dutch artist ReauBeau. Enjoying huge DJ support leading up to its release, the track is officially out now on Spinnin’ Records.
Listen to it here:
Snavs is a Copenhagen-based producer and DJ-artist who creates a forward-thinking, uncompromising and interesting combination of trap and future bass, that allows him to be extremely dynamic and diverse in his sound design.
The first quake from Snavs was the release of his debut EP ‘808%’ in April 2013. By now, his music has been streamed +50 million times on all platforms and counting +600.000 downloads. Meanwhile the young trap producer and DJ-artist has played sold out shows in Australia, Europe and the US.
Recently, Snavs signed an exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records and turned into the first trap artist from Denmark to break international soil. With this fresh deal under his belt, he delivered ‘For You’, a rollercoaster ride of a track that underlined what Snavs is about – a combination of cool kicks, melodic and heavy drops – receiving major DJ support.
ReauBeau’s sonic journey started at the very roots of his present ‘future & bass’ undertakings. Due to a strong love for hip hop during his formative years, his passion spurred into the restless fiddling and fine-tuning art of conveying finer (and often ineffable) emotions through the craft of composition.
After a number of years producing dubstep under his other alias “Robokop”, soon followed Rob’s most recent brainchild: ReauBeau – a versatile blend of (future)bass and trap, with a touch of euphoria.
ReauBeau’s newest creations are distributed by labels like Wolfgang Records, High Tea Music and The Glitch Shop. Recently, ReauBeau also signed at Run The Trap agency.
Following this, both artists have now teamed up for ‘Dreams’, a widely supported tune with strong trap flavors, enhanced by future bass influences and exquisite vocals.
“I met ReauBeau back in November in a greenroom at a show I was playing in The Netherlands. We had fun and after couple of beers we were playing some demos and unreleased stuff for each other. After my tour we started bouncing stuff back and forth and started a collab, that turned out to be ‘Dreams’.” – Snavs
“When I met Snavs at Run The Trap XL – Indoor Festival in November 2016 I showed him this draft I made for his label Riotville. Then a few weeks later I recorded some vocals over the same draft, which I sent him through Facebook, and asked if he was still interested. Then he said he wanted to finish it together! I didn’t have to think long about that. He did his magic on the track and here we are with a killer of a track!” – ReauBeau
