With 50 releases already under its belt, Solardo’s Sola label gets set to celebrate their 50th release with a five single series that includes the best-selling artists from the label.
Secondcity kicks off the series with Tomorrow’s World, already proving promise for another potential crossover hit.
Then Prok & Fitch step up with Solardo’s edit of Celia’s House whilst Del-30 launches the label into techno territory with Rolling Tribe, signifying new ventures for the imprint as they evolve the label’s signature sound.
The series’ fourth installment comes from Mason Maynard who lends his remix skills to CamelPhat’s Drop It. From starting his career as a resident DJ under Solardo’s wing to remixing one of the biggest names in house music marks a huge personal milestone for the young producer. Rounding the series off on an enduring high, industry heavyweights CamelPhat and Sola label bosses Solardo come together for floor filler collaboration – Accelerator.
The special 50th release series is a celebration of the outstanding success Sola has achieved over the last year with the artists that have grown through the label and revered producers that have connected to the imprints core values and musicality. Now, Solardo’s label is one of the top-10 best-selling labels on Beatport, is hosting rooms at events including Manchester’s infamous Warehouse Project, and has become a go-to label for an ever-growing roster of the best artists that the scene has to offer.
