Talented young Norwegian artist Sonny Alven is ready to release his new single, ‘Wasted Youth’. The single features vocalist Cal, and is out now. The track is the second release off his forthcoming Girls EP.
‘Wasted Youth’ is built on warm chords and a soft piano melody, whilst Cal’s vocals allude to the importance of making each moment count. A feel-good piece of music, the single bears the hallmarks of Sonny Alven’s popular production style – one which has secured the artist over 1.8 million unique monthly Spotify users and a Norwegian Grammy nomination.
Having produced official remixes for the likes of Alesso, Tove Lo and Astrid S, Sonny also supported Kygo on his European tour. His streaming stats are impressive; in 2016 alone, 6.5 million Spotify listeners streamed 213 year’s worth of his music. With many more productions in the works and his tour schedule gathering pace, ‘Your Touch’ is the first track from an upcoming EP to be released in March, and just the start of what is set to be a successful 2017 for Sonny Alven.
