“The EP pays homage to all the girls who run the world. You go girls!” – Sonny Alven

Exciting Norwegian artist Sonny Alven has just released his debut 3-track project titled Girls EP via Universal Music. The project showcases vocal talent from rising female Scandinavian singers Olivera, Cal and Ylva, and highlights Sonny’s distinctive style – a huge part of which focuses around his love for collaborating with women.

Uplifting opener ‘Too Late to Love Me’ fuses punchy piano chords and a stomping bassline, underpinning Ylva’s soaring vocals. Speaking on his overall thoughts on the track, Sonny says: “Ylva delivers an amazing vocal performance, and I’m super happy with the way it all came together.”

‘Wasted Youth’ is the second track from the EP. The summery track merges Sonny’s signature sound with a rich vocal performance from Norwegian singer Cal.

Sonny brings Girls EP to a poignant close with ‘Your Touch’ which features the soft vocals of Finnish singer Olivera. Released at the start of the year, the emotionally-charged track has gained over 2 million Spotify plays to date.
