STBAN Drops Flamenco House Banger ‘La Palma’ with G.Zamora

STBAN is bringing flamenco heat straight to the club floor with his newest single La Palma, a passionate fusion of heritage and house set to drop June 20, 2025, on FLAMENCA Records via Toolroom.

The ‘La Palma’ release features powerhouse Spanish vocalist G.Zamora and delivers everything fans didn’t know they needed from flamenco house. From the first note, it’s clear this track isn’t just music, it’s a cultural reset.

At the core of ‘La Palma’ is a fiery interpretation of the traditional flamenco handclap, or “la palma,” which drives the rhythm, energy, and raw emotion behind the dance form. STBAN and co-producer Bryan Coletta, known for his work with Sparrow & Barbossa and even Gypsy Kings, drew on those elements to craft a deep, soul-pounding anthem that captures flamenco’s spirit while fully reimagining it for the dance floor.

Speaking on the collaboration, Coletta said, “It came together super fast. The vibe matches flamenco perfectly. I’ve played it in clubs already, it’s a banger. STBAN’s team is incredible, and I’m a big supporter of FLAMENCA. I think this is just the beginning.” The production is an elegant collision of sultry electric guitars, Latin heat, brass stabs, and those hypnotic handclaps. G.Zamora’s unmistakable Balearic vocal lines glide across the instrumentation like a dance, binding every sound together into one lush wave of rhythm and motion. From the bass and synths to the percussive textures, everything in ‘La Palma’ builds with an intention that feels as old as flamenco itself, but now reimagined in 2025 club culture.

STBAN himself said the collaboration was fueled by Coletta’s deep understanding of flamenco. “We know each other from Switzerland, but I was blown away by how in tune he is with flamenco rhythms and beats. He really feels the music. And that was everything to me, working with someone who could respect the roots while pushing it into something new. That’s the whole mission at FLAMENCA.”

Alongside the audio, ‘La Palma’ also drops with a stunning music video filmed in Marrakech. The visual project is a celebration of flamenco’s Arabic roots and features everyday Moroccans from all walks of life dancing freely with headphones on, totally immersed in the rhythm of the track. Shot in plazas, rooftops, sidewalks and open parks, it’s a beautiful expression of joy and global connection. STBAN said, “I didn’t want to just show Spain. Flamenco has roots in Morocco and Arabic countries too, so I wanted that energy in the video. Seeing people dance in the streets of Marrakech to our music was so authentic and powerful. That’s what it’s about, freedom and connection.”

With more singles lined up this year, upcoming sets at AirBeat One and Montreux Jazz Festival, and a residency at MAD Club in Lausanne, STBAN is clearly positioning FLAMENCA Records as a label to watch. Their recent partnership with Toolroom Records, unveiled at this year’s IMS in Ibiza, has already given the brand added momentum, offering top-tier distribution and support for the label’s unique cultural approach to house music.

If ‘La Palma’ is any indication, STBAN is just getting started. This is where traditional rhythm meets modern freedom, where the spirit of flamenco lives again in the heat of the dance floor. Get ready to hear this one at festivals, in sweaty clubs, and through your headphones on repeat all summer long.
