Steve Aoki & Blasterjaxx Release “Get Down” and “Shake That”

Steve Aoki and Blasterjaxx have taken fans by surprise with an electrifying double drop, releasing two pulse-pounding tracks, “Get Down (feat. Lil Jon)” and “Shake That”, destined to ignite dancefloors around the globe.

Both songs bring Aoki and Blasterjaxx’s own brand of high-octane production, but “Get Down” incorporates legendary hype calls from Lil Jon, melding sky-sweeping builds and devastating drops for that authentic mainstage feeling.

Aoki expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Whenever I work with Blasterjaxx we attempt to create something that catapults the crowd to another level. When Lil Jon jumped on ‘Get Down,’ it turned into this crazy call-to-action that only he could provide. And ‘Shake That’ is unadulterated release, it’s about surrendering and giving yourself up to the moment. These records remind me why I’m so passionate about creating records for the dancefloor.”

“Get Down (feat. Lil Jon)” brings Lil Jon’s vocals instantly familiar to the masses into massive EDM drops, a track perfectly suited for the festival stage and nights out. “Shake That,” on the other hand, features Aoki and Blasterjaxx’s infectious beats, high-energy strikes, and unforgettable hooks to get the crowd going. Blasterjaxx explained, “‘Shake That’ has been sitting on our hard drive for over 2.5 years.”. We always knew it had something special; it just needed the right moment to see the light. And that moment is now.

The songs came out on Dim Mak on October 10th, 2025, as a hot new addition to Aoki and Blasterjaxx’s expanding repertoire of dance music anthems. Fans will be able to anticipate these tunes to take over festival sets and live shows, proving why both artists continue to be relevant in the EDM world.
