The black shadow of electronic music, also known as Stockholm Noir released mesmerizing ”Alive” in the beginning of summer 2018, after being silent for 7 months. The collective is now back with the music video of Alive.
”Alive is a raw and honest song which we dedicate to you who have lost someone close and know that particular feeling of despair. All of us who are still here, on earth, who still have the chance to live although our friend or partner lost that chance. Even though ”Alive” was born out of that frustration, the song and
the video is still uplifting. It feels right to create a balance between heavy and light.The video is created together with Liam Nazemi and the participants are randomly selected women who spontaneously feel and react to the music. Almost like a polished and honest reaction video.”
The collective has been dropping singles and instrumentals since April 2017 and quickly gained interest in numerous blogs, playlists, radio and several influential channels across the world. Debut single “Hopeless Dreams” quickly reached 300,000 streams and entered the global viral-list on Spotify within a week of release.
