Hypnosis

Currently pin-pointing himself at the forefront of the growing West Coast Wobble movement, SubDocta makes his highly-anticipated return to the Fresh Blood sub label today with a brand new single – Hypnosis.

Solidifying himself as a leading producer in the bass music realm, SubDocta’s “Hypnosis” is a hard-hitting single that will undoubtedly put him on the map as one of the most intricate up-and-coming electronic producers in the scene right now.

Following his debut Fresh Blood release “Skeleton Key” from April 2018, SubDocta’s latest single highlights his technical talent in his production skillset. “Hypnosis” opens with an intensified build up that boasts roaring synths and deep vibrations; leading toward the turning point of the track with a quick vocal cut “I can’t help myself”, SubDocta quickly captivates listeners with striking grooves and flooding basslines. Experimenting with an evolving style, SubDocta proves that he is a true heavyweight in the new wave of the West Coast Wobble movement with his new single “Hypnosis” out now on Fresh Blood.

ABOUT SUBDOCTA

SubDocta is known for throwing down his own brand of dubstep, trap, and hybrid styles too odd for the typical nightclub scene. His eclectic taste and production skills have landed him performances at festivals and shows throughout the west and beyond including Lucidity, The Bounce, Emissions Bass Culture, Enchanted Forest, The Untz, StillDream, The Pirate Party, and Bass Camp multiple years in a row. With releases on labels such as MalLabel and ShadowtrixMusic, plus with Bassnectar supporting his songs, he has proven himself worthy of our ever-growing scene. Look forward to forthcoming singles, EPs and heavy festival/touring performances in 2018; SubDocta is on his way up.

ABOUT FRESH BLOOD

Originating in 2014, the Buygore Records team as well as lead bass boss Borgore developed a new platform by the name of ‘Fresh Blood’ for sustaining innovative, up-and-coming artists from around the globe, providing a destination for new sounds to be heard and discovered. Since it’s genesis, Fresh Blood has focused on building up the underground by yielding exposure to newer artists including the likes of Svdden Death, Point.Blank, Subject 31, and Niveau Zero. A few years later, the sub label experienced a revival with Fresh Blood Vol. 2, only to be followed with the third compilation and a sold-out showcase at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, California in October 2017.

Earlier this year, the Buygore headquarters delivered another hard-hitting compilation once again bringing hidden gems to the forefront of electronic music including Algo, BloodThinnerz, Blankface, Somnium Sound, Yakz, and many more. The 17-track venture is powered by raw, unadulterated basslines carrying listeners through a sonic journey from beginning to end, proving that versatility still exists in an oversaturated genre field. Fresh Blood Vol. 4 is home to a handful of familiar faces, but also brought a few new acts to the table like Code: Pandorum, Dack Janiels, Stabby, & more who have since risen to the big leagues of Buygore Records.

Most recently, the Buygore label owner himself, Borgore, celebrated the sub label’s 100th release in April 2018 with a special 100-minute mix. Comprised of some of Fresh Blood’s biggest releases as well as Borgore’s personal favorites, Fresh Blood 100 Mixed by Borgore highlights the stylistic evolution of the imprint and illustrates a vivid journey from the original compilation to a few IDs of what to expect this year.
